Do you open the same tabs in Google Chrome almost every day?

Instead of manually opening each tab, you can set Google Chrome to AUTOMATICALLY open your desired tabs every time you launch the browser! Here's exactly how to do it:

TIPS AND TRICKS

Here are a few ideas that might be helpful for you when setting your default startup tabs in Google Chrome!

UPDATE THE TABS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

If you use specific slideshows or websites for different units you teach, you can change your default startup tabs throughout the year to match the pages you're currently using!

For example, you can remove the tab for the Google Slides file "Measurement Conversions" (click the 3 dots next to the tab name and click "Remove") and replace it with the new slides you will use to teach the next unit (click "Add a new page" and paste the URL).

You could also consider changing your default startup tabs monthly or quarterly if that better fits your teaching needs!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How can I change my default startup tabs?

Once you have set your default startup tabs, you can edit them at any time. Navigate back to the "On startup" section of your Chrome settings (look back at steps 2 and 3 for how to do that) and either remove existing tabs by clicking the 3 dots to the right of the tab name and clicking "Remove" or add new tabs by clicking "Add a new page" underneath your current list of tabs.
